چکیده
We study the density-density correlation function of the dense random het-eropolymer solutions. We show that a phase transition is possible due to the het-erogeneity of polymers. We also show that the critical behavior of the system is described by the O(N) model at N = 0.

An application of a self-consistent version of RPA to quantum field theory with broken symmetry is presented. Although our approach can be applied to any bosonic field theory, we specifically study the φ theory in 1+1 dimensions. We show that standard RPA approach leads to an instability which can be removed when going to a superior version, i.e. the renormalized RPA. We present a method based ...

Considering the density-density correlation function of a concentrated polymer solution with multicomponent solvent we find a phase transition due to the heterogeneity of excluded volume constant. This new phase transition implies a strong enhancement of the scattered light intensity in the critical region, which can explain a recent experiment showing strong light scattering from a ternary pol...

We consider the associativity or Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde (WDVV) equations and discuss one of the most relevant for non-perturbative physics class of their solutions based on existence of the residue formulas. It is demonstrated for this case that the proof of associativity equations is reduced to the problem of solving system of algebraic linear equations. The particular examples of ...

In this note we compute the functional derivative of the induced charge density, on a thin conductor, consisting of the union of g + 1 disjoint intervals, J := ∪ g+1 j=1 (a j , b j), with respect to an external potential. In the context of random matrix theory this object gives the eigenvalue fluctuations of Hermitian random matrix ensembles where the eigenvalue density is supported on J.

We present a systematic way to analyze and model systems having many characteristic timescales. The method we propose is employed for a test-case of a meandering jet model manifesting chaotic tracer dispersion with long time-correlations. We first choose a suitable state space partition and analyze the symbolic dynamics associated to the fluid particle position. In a second step we construct a ...
